Brain Diseases Award 2021 ceremony

Want to learn how eyesight could be restored thanks to the use of optogenetic light sensors? At this year's Brain Diseases Award, which will be presented on November 1, you will gain exciting insights into brain research.

This year's Brain Diseases Award will be presented to three young researchers, Ekaterina Friebel, Dasha Nelidova and David Tingley, on November 1, 2021, at the main building of the University of Zurich (UZH). As in the past, applications from all over the world were considered - 25 were submitted in total. Besides the UZH, the University of Basel and the University of New York are represented as institutions.

Do you want to be there live and experience the presentations of the winning projects personally by the award winners? The event will be held in the main building of the UZH, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich, in room KOL-G-217 EV, is free of charge and can be attended without registration.

Please note that it is mandatory to present a valid COVID certificate with identification to attend the event.
