There is close collaboration between researchers at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the University’s hospitals in all areas of biomedical research – in human as well as veterinary medicine.
UZH is increasingly also using interdisciplinary cooperation as an important tool to help translate scientific research findings into clinical practice. The UZH Foundation uses private-sector funding to support various projects in the area of cutting-edge medicine.
UZH’s resources aren’t always sufficient to fully fund innovative and interdisciplinary projects at the vanguard of medical research. Additional third-party funds are needed to explore new subject areas. As a donor, you can help alleviate human and animal suffering by facilitating new insights in the field of cutting-edge medicine.
