The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zurich (UZH) is the largest institution for medical education in Switzerland. Over 1,000 students graduate each year, accounting for approximately 22 percent of all medical degrees in Switzerland. With the Med500+ expansion project, which aims to increase the number of medical school spots, this percentage will continue to rise in the medium to long term.
